Default Whats The Stock Plug Gap

im about to change the wires and plugs and need the gap spec. i usually find it quickly under the hood on most cars, but i cant seem to find it on mine.

edit> i bought taylor wires and the stock wires have the heat shield, they wont fit on the taylor wires. do i need them?

Stock gap on mine is .060, I use NGK TR55's and gap them at .055. Best thing about aftermarket wires for me was not having to ever mess with the heat shields again.

1. Your link doesn't work.
2. Don't gap your plugs at .040....that's way too tight for a N/A motor. Gap them around .055

heres the thread about the plugs i bought. they were all at 40 from the box and could be damage if set to 60, link should work now.

Reading the above post link, thinking WTF is truth?!

Have the Delco Iridium plugs in hand and yes they WERE (note past tense) gapped at about .040. I re-gapped them to .055 thinking I was setting them correctly.

WTF?!
