HA!....nobody sells it cheap!! Only place most of us ever find it is at certain Autozones.

The lowest I have seen it lately around here is $4.59 compared to it's regular $5.19 a quart. Autozone is the only place that I find it.

yep $4.59 at autozone because they have some special going on for castrol... lots of people have been saying (for a year) that the smaller autozones are going to stop carrying it. Two of the autozones in my area (both medium) say the german ow-30 is fairly new for them and they think they'll continue to have it.

My local Autozone carries it, but they have not refilled their origional shipment (new store). The manager said he can order some for me, so we will see how this works out. (I saw some stores sell it for 3.59 when they were no longer going to carry it. Normal price is 5.19)

It's by far the best oil I've tried for the money. Quiet, great oil pressure, no consumption, etc.

so this german castrol is better than mobil 1 for which i use religiously in all my cars

Mobil 1 is a great oil as well. If you can't find the german castrol don't fret, keep using what you are using.

I found mine a canadiantire something like 6cdn a quart and they had tons too, even walmart has it.
