Anybody going? Me and a couple buddies are going to make a long weekend getaway and go down to watch.

Same here. Looks liek there's going to be a couple LT1s and a couple LS1s there. Should be a fun time.

Where you staying? We'll be at the Super 8 downtown Memphis.

i am hoping to have mine running in another week or so, lmao!!!! ha ha! just a few things left to do from winter freshen up, a few new items to square away. maybe turn the key by week's end.

kurt are you gonna have the car possibly at the next Friday night heads up race, opn May 5th? i guess that is my new goal, lol!! we'll line'em up, just give me a couple of second headstart, that should at least make for a relatively interesting race :jest:

i may end up running it on motor if i don't have enough time to test eveything out! that is assuming it will start after the ignition upgrade.

Got my TERD running last week. Still have a ton of stuff to do before the 12th.

I am just hoping to get in the quick 32 part of the program. The car was really built for the power tour this year, although I am making some changes for pump gas drags to make it legal. The second fuel system/injectors won't be hooked up until power tour. We will give it our best shot and hope for the best, but there are 2 mopar cars that are claiming 7 second ability....

I hope some of the LS1/LT1 guys run in the 9's, seems like the past showing has not been that strong. Make us look good darnit!

I will be down there watching. If you see a goofy red headed guy looking at LSx & LTx cars say hey. These are some of the baddest "street legal" cars in the country that are coming to this. Last year was pretty cool with a lot of 9sec cars. It wouldnt surprise me to see some 7sec passes this year. Big thing is though if they can make the trek from Comp Cams over to the track.. I know I seen at least 4 cars on the side of the road on the way to the track. Good luck to all the participants.. Maybe one day I will be cool enough to be running with these guys. :emb: :)

well the bitch is alive, thanks to JC Hyde @ Delteq and Matt Kars, of Kars Inst. that will be another post, JC gets a hand full of thumbs up! he went the exrta mile and then just kept going, the fucking opti is gone! :) i am forever happy about that.
