When you sit in the car, or when it goes over speed bumps or something it squeaks from the rear?

if that's the case, $1000 says it's swaybar bushings poly bushings are cheap and it's easy to change. I went through the same **** with my '94

well, i dont know what to tell you. theres a bunch of things that could be squeaking. well, actually its the whole car that squeaks.

in my convertible, the top squeaks, the rear squeaks, doors squeak... its just something you get used to with these cars. but any tips to make any of these noises go away would be appreciated

no, just replace all the suspension bushing like end links, sway bar mounts, panhard bushings, all that stuff would wind up being like 200 max, make sure to grease them up though too, you could actually try lubing up the ones in there now and that might stop it

Try spraying silicone lubricant in the bushings, work it and repeat to work it in.Don't use an oil like penetrating oil though because this eats rubber.Silicone is a rubber and plastic lube-if anything it's good can use it on window tracks etc.I have cured some control arm bushing squeeks on a few diff. cars not specifically f bodies.
