Ive had my camaro for about 3 months now and i know that the clutch isnt stock in it... it grabs harder, has a little chatter at low RPMs and the pedal feels slightly stiffer than that of stock. also one thing that i have noticed is that when i let out the clutch i can hear a hissing noise coming from the tranny... it sounds like the friction material rubbing against the flywheel and the prssure plate, so im pretty sure that the friction material isnt stock. just wonderin if you guys have any idea of what kind of clutch is in my car. thanks

Actually it is a Mcleod quintuple disk. I hear the whistle like a supercharger.

thanks... do you know what kind of friction material the mcleod uses? is it a ceramic or a kevlar... i couldnt find anything about it.
