General Maintenance & Repairs - went to start my car and...

the check gauges light comes on. The battery voltage is very low and my steering wheel seems to be locked up...I can turn it, but not much. I drove my car a few times today and didn't have this problem till just now. What could it be? The engine will start up normally. I know it has nothing to do with the battery cuz it's a pretty new Optima top battery.

When my "check gauges" light comes on is when Im low on gas. I hate being that low on gas at any point, I cry for my fuel pump. :bang:

yeah no shit i bet ur belt is off do not drive ur CAR ii almost blew my f'in motor to this problem.
ur car will over heat quick
