Default New Rear, have questions

I took out my 10 bolt with abs and tcs

started the car and as i would rev the car, the mph would increase? It also says ABS INLOP

how do i fix the mph thing? when I get it tuned? I heard the only way to fix the ABS INLOP light is to take the bulb out

thanks guys

You're saying you started the car and revved it without the rear end in place

you should be able to get anything tuned out, and if your rear end wasnt in place, your transmission might have been in gear and turning, and it made your car think you were going.

If the rear wasn't in place, even if the car was in neutral, it would still spin the output shaft, not with any force, but enough to spin the speedo gear....

And the ABS Inop light will light up if the output shaft and the ABS sensor don't correspond, so I'd say this is all normal....

yulp, rear end was in place, up in the air, but the DS was out of the car

will the ABS go away after the DS is back in place? I thought it might stay on since I have the TCS and ABS now removed from the rear

If you deleted the ABS, your light will prolly stay on, mine did. I deleted the ABS when I put my 9" in and my light stayed on. Went to delete the light and most of the lights on the dash are led, didn't want to mess with all the soldering and wiring, so I covered the light with tape. No more ABS inop light.
