Have the converter loosened?
My converter is a little small, should I do this or get a new one? I can footbrake the car to like 2400 rpm on the et radials and that's it. Best 60' on motor is a 1.78 and 1.62 on the spray. This is with zero tire spin. The trans is a th400 and I am on 3.50 gears, and currently 28in. tires. Cam is a 224 for now. I definitely want to leave harder and cut some better 60's. All help appreciated.

I may spray 200+ though. Where is the breaking point on a stall vs. shot? I know it can be too loose for spray, but a 1.7 on motor is a little weak right?

Hmm in that case I would probably get ahold of Fuddle, Yank, etc, and tell them all about your car. I'm sure they would be able to reccomend a propper converter based on your application

I called the people that made the converter and they said that I should go ahead and spray it with the big shot so we will know what we are up against. 200 here I come.
