GM T56 Troubleshooting Charts Figured I'd post these up here in case they might help anyone.
Symptoms
The transmission does not shift smoothly or without difficulty into another gear
The transmission does not shift smoothly or without difficulty in reverse gear
The transmission gears clas when shifting from one gear into another gear
The transmission is noisy and the noise may carry into the passenger compartment
Gear disengagement occurs during normal operation
