Default Engine not turning...

Hey, I was wondering, I have a 2004 Grand Prix GT2...when I went to start it the other day, it turned on, then about 5 seconds after start it completely stopped and died...then tried to restart a couple mins later it wouldn't even turn. The interior electronics worked...but the engine wouldn't turn. Then after about 1 hour it finally turned on with a little resistance. Wwhat could cause that?

A bad ground wire is most likely the cause. I would check the battery cables and connections first. My G/F had a cavalier thatdid this and every time I moved the battery wires around a bit the car would start.
Otherwise I would check the grounding strap on the head.
