quickest/Fastest 2.73 car anyone have any ideas on what the fastest 2.73 rear car is? automatic, unless a F.I. guy went to it for other reasons. there arent many results in searching. thanks

I think the fastest I've seen SI, NA was around 11.88 or 11.86.

Yep....one run I left it in 2 and hit the rev limiter.....ended up at 12.20 @108

I suspect this thread isn't for bragging rights and is to gauge how fast they can run without dumping any money into the 10 bolt for a gear change. Or they just like getting close to 30mpg on the highway. Who knows.

i would think this guy just wants to know what kind of realistic goals he could achieve without a gear change. i would love to build an 11 second car with a highway gear in it. kind of a best of both worlds idea.
i'd say, if you have a high gear and don't want to change them, get a good torque converter and lighten the crap out of the car. 4thgencamaro and GM muscle have very light cars.
