Default wow my times suck!

I finally was able to take my 99 hugger ss 6 speed to the track, and am not impressed with the times. I ran twice and ran 14.8 at 98mph each time with a 2.3 60ft. Im pretty sure the clutch is going because I could not just slam the gears, I had to wait after i pressed in the clutch until I could change gears. Would this be the complete problem? The mph seems really low. Also, the previous owner took off the muffler, so it is running straight pipes. Is this hurting me as well.
Please help, I nearly got beat by a hatchback civic!!!!

Fix the clutch, and drop your 60ft, that will bring your trap in higher, and your times alot better

yea dude that car is got something wrong.. i promise it will go a lot faster.. and no removing the muffler only helps lol... 14.8 is really way off... i would maybe consider letting someone else drive the car??? just a suggestion to see if its you or the car...

Wow, even with that bad 60' something seems off with your car. My clutch is going on my car, and I can smoke a 05 gto still. I think it's more then just your clutch. How long has it been since you replaced the spark plugs? If your spark plugs are bad it will pull timing like a ****. Another issue is how high of an altitude the track you run at is.

I completely agree with Denom even with toasted clutch you're still way off from expectations ya must take her to shop & double check spark plugs .

two things to be concern your shifting point & the altitude buddy , just curious ??

I think it is the driver. A lot of people think they know how to drive stick, but they really don't. Get someone else to take it for a run.
