My 10 bolt has t/a girdle, welded tubes and a solid leaf, I run M/T e.t's and it holds up just fine. The guy who did the rear had the same setup done to his, And he was running 11.2s and spraying out the hole on winks.

Roll into the throttle and try to keep the car from dead hooking. Anything over 3500rpms and a decent hook is gonna ask for a flatbed. On my 245 16 555R's I cut a 1.9 60 and it sounded like marbels in the rear. I just mounted by 275's and only race at tracks that are within 100 miles of my house. AAA+ tows 100 miles for free!

I've been 10.40 on a 1.52 60' with the stock 10 bolt and 3.42's, no girdle, no welded tubes, etc. . . That's the exception, not the rule, though. Stock 6 speed cars have broken them on the street. I broke one from role on the street in 2nd gear.
