Default finally got the gears in!

so i finally got rid of the 2.73's and got my 3.42's in. it's a little hard for me to notice a difference down low but at 70 and up it's a whole new animal! maybe when i get it all tuned it will become a bit more noticeable all around.

It probably just feels faster up top. I would think the only gain your getting is from a dig. With 3.42's, your going to be at a higher RPM driving on the highway and the car will feel like it has more *****. Although, you should top out less.

It could still have a stronger top end pull. If you think about it in every gear it's going to have greater torque multiplication than it would with 2.73s and I would think it would hit it's top speed quicker with 3.42s than with 2.73s. Can a stock LT1 hit the rev limiter in top gear with the 2.73s? If not, then it should be faster with 3.42s. There are too many variables in this.
