Pep boys engine hoist warning Check this out. Guy was lifting his BBC with a Pep Boys hoist, on the 1.5 ton setting...

huh, there's something weird going on there...
Yes, it is designed wrong, but I'm pretty sure that that tube should be able to handle the load of a big block without all the bracing...

probably some of that good high quaility overseas steel that everything in the U.S.A seems to be made of.Makes you wonder why we can't make the same part for same price...

Well my kragen one didn't bent but the seals are shot meaning to keep the motor in the air i have to continue pumping it to keep the engine from falling..I know I was buying cheap stuff but owe well...
