back to the nitrous.
The nitrous allows you to burn more fuel. That fuel is where most of the extra power comes from. By just adding nitrous only to an engine with NO fuel addition will lean you out greatly.

basically air is 20 percent oxygen, and nitrous is 33 percent oxygen. Therefore you make more power because there is more oxygen molecules for the burn in your cylinders.
