Generation III External Engine - Anybody cut off old SFC's and reweld new ones?

I have some light weight, thin POS SFC's on the car right now which I don't think do me any good. They have some bends in them where I think they caved in under pressure when the car flexed....fuggin POS's
I want some KDD's. Anybody done this type of swap without trouble? I am guessing I will have to pull the carpet, no biggie. Any other problems I may run into?
My welder is damn good so the work isn't questionable, just curious if there is anything else to look out for.

I went from KB DD'S to BMR Boxed because of the way they support the LCA in the rear. My KB's were excellent but were very heavy and I will be installing a cage as well. The KB's were a BIOTCH!!! to get off. ALOT of grinding and cutting then smoothing had to take place before we could mount up my BMR's... It can be done though.

I know brian took his bmrs off and sold them to my buddy jeff (zshark) on here now i havent seen the sfc's nor has jeff nor have they been installed but i think that same guy who did you and jeffs exhaust is gonna put the sfc's on jeffs car.
