Default need help

My 2001 SS (m6) has around 41,000 miles on it. There's no leaks of oil on the ground or anything like that. But I suspect it to be blowing oil, but I would like to avoid taking the engine to a machine shop at all cost, could it just be a few cheap factory seals going out on me, or is it a definitely blowing oil out the exhaust? This only happens on a cold start-up and sometimes when I get on it?? This is sort-of a stupid question and im no mechanic, but I respect you guys opinions and would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks,
Caleb

I agree. It could very well be a bad PCV. I would replace the valve to see if that stopped or slows your using oil problem.
