Well the other day I finially got my SS out to wash it. Well when I started it I noticed my RPM's were running a little lower than usual. Or at least I think so. What should the Rpms be?
Oh and I flushed the radiator out last weekend if maybe that has anything to do with it.

Is your car stock?
It should idle higher on cold start up until it completes it's cold start cycle.
At full operating temp it should have a much lower idle, 1000rpm is way too high. Is there a chance your tacho is wrong?
A Rover V8 idles at ~850-950rpm and every other car I've been in idles below 1000rpm. I admit my TR7 tends to idle at 1000-1100rpm but that's more due to the setup of the cam/carb and the faster idle doesn't really hurt it, but it could do with dropping a few 100rpm.

98' tachs reads about 150rpms high. My car stock(M6) read 950 but was actually 800. 500 to 650 is normal for an auto usually 550 in gear. With my cam, it's about 850-900rpms.
