Street Racing & Kill Stories - 96 GT At Track

Last night at the midnights I got paired up with this 96ish GT, kid about my age around 17-18. He had loud exhaust and it sounded good. Like them all.


Well I was feeling like a straight jack ass and wanted to have some fun. :jest: So when the light hit I sat there and let him take off and counted to 2 and then launched it. I still managed to rape his ass and put buses on him.


Freinds got a good laugh out of it. Gotta let the stangs know where they stand. :engarde:

Thats funny, I had a 97gt and it was a turd. I traded it in on my Mach1.. I use to think it was fast because I had exhaust on it and it sounded good till I got beat by a TA and a Lightning bad.. Now that I drive alot faster car I can't believe I thought that thing was fast, but it was my first stang and the fastest car I ever had at the time.. LOL

I just pulled the pipes off my 5.0 after the muffler and it is now dumped after muffler/before axle. It sounds a lot louder, but i dont "feel" faster in it b/c the sound. Not at all, I wonder where that sound=speed thing comes from ?

I have a 96 GT.... its slow compared to my LS1. Really fucking slow.

Ya, I have some freinds that could show me where I stand haha. A few cobras. I dont know of any GT's around here though, I've raced two SC'ed ones on highway and havent been raped by them yet. There's always people faster. I dont claim to be the fastest, just a huge jack ass. lol
