Last night i was leaving my friend's house and started to smell coolant. i looked down and my temp was way high, so i turned around and headed back towards his house. as i pulled in his driveway, my temp had started inching towards 260. almost to the end of his driveway and the car shut itself off. we found out the radiator cap had come loose, no big deal. i filled it with water(all i had at the time =\) and cycled the key. temp went down, and i tried to start. it cranked, ran for a second, but would not start.

I listened for the fuel pump coming on... but nothing. tried checking fuses/relays but they were all good. disconnected the batt for a few, and nothing. Unhooked the ECT and cranked... still nothing. checked for power at the fuel pump and during key cycling it was getting around 10v, but not making any noise.

sound like i have a bad fuel pump? or am i missing something stupid?
