Gremlin Keeps Opening My Hatch! Something weird is happening and was wondering if anybody could help. Whenever I open the door the hatch opens. Sometimes this happens when I turn the ignition or release the parking brake. Also the radio sometimes turns on when I unlock the doors with the keyless entry. Any clues? Car is a 95 m6 formula.

None that I have done or have noticed. I did rebuild my alternator early last year and the damn voltage regulator went out again. I am rebuilding it again tomorrow or I might bite the bullet and buy a new alternator. Could the excessive output charge be causing the problem? Also at night you can see the brake light on, kinda dim though, when you release the parking brake. Not sure if that is relative but trying to get as much info out as possible.

Damn I forgot all about the hatch button. I had a similar problem but it was related to the lighting, rather than the opening part. I hadn't been driving it much so I kinda forgot about it. Must be a really common problem.
