can some help me with a evap code my service engine soon light has come up i have the the predator programmer and a po442 code comes up is says evap emission control (small leak) does anyone know which part i have to replace.

Buddy of mine had P0442. First thing he tried was a new gas cap to make sure the seal was good - didn't work. Ended up bringing it to a shop and have them inject smoke into the system, they found a small crack somewhere and sealed it with epoxy. Sorry I don't have a definitive answer, just thought I'd post his experience.

It could be a leak anywhere in the EVAP system...gas cap, connection, anything. Only thing you can really do is have it smoke tested by a shop that has a smoke machine, or live with the code.
