Foam behind power mirror plastic cover
Hmm, not sure what to even call the piece, but on the interior side of the door, behind the power mirror, theres a triangular piece of plastic held by a screw. That fell out today, no biggy, found a similar screw. But I took the other side off to find out what size and noticed that side has a piece of molded foam to fit in there wedged underneath. My driver's side doesn't have that. Any idea what its for? Any clue what to call it or part #. Now that I know its missing, it bugs me/. :-)

Some call it a sail panel...just go to the dealership abd point it out on their computer screen when they bring the diagram up. I assume its just to keep the rattling down. I wouldnt worry about it at all. Both sides should have it.

I took about 20 minutes this morning and looked at everything I have for parts catalogs. . .never found a single one in any of the 93-02 catalogs.
I'll post a generic picture later of what they looked like.
No foamie insert. . .if it's professional looking, snap a picture for us also!
I would guess the only purpose would be noise reduction.
Thanks and good luck!
