Default 644 rwhp on 7 psi? YEP!

And who said big cams wouldn't work with boost? sure its bleeding it off, but its making the power! here is a car I tuned saturday.

2002 Z06, AFR 205s, G5X3 cam 232/240-114. LG headers stock Z06 catback, stock bottom end. car does have methanol, it was worth about 20 rwhp on this car.

Are those AFR's milled any? Usually LG mills them .040 for the G5X series of cams? That would be a compression of a round 11.5
Nice results though!

If that car has a stock bottom end, the reason it's probably living is because the big cam is bleeding off some of the boost.

Good #'s though!

I feel its more of a power level than a boost level that affects what a motor can or cant handle up to a certain point.

Its a G5X3, pretty sure those were the specs, someone chime in with em. no the AFRs are not milled, CR is around 10.5

No congrats to me, not my car, I just tuned it, hehe.

What went out on yours? I know of a 30th that had 630+ at the wheels on the stock bottom end that had 30k on the setup before the car was sold.

Very nice, but i think the cam has something to do with the TQ numbers and area under the curve. Mine dyno'd 630rwhp 609rwtq on a mustang dyno running stock bottom end and stock heads. It made 500rwtq at 3600RPM and 600rwtq at 4500RPM. It made 500rwhp at 4500 RPM and 600rwhp at 5600 RPM. At 6000 RPM it made 630rwhp where we had to shut down the run due to fuel starvation. The cam is a 224/230 114 LSA and the blower is a D-1SC running at 46300 impeller RPM's (D-1SC can go to 62000RPM).

I bet a little bit smaller cam with a larger split would bring that TQ curve and area under the curve up there.

How about the lack of boost? could you imagine what this car would put down if you could pulley the blower to generate 13 psi like your 630 rwhp setup? This car barely makes 7 psi peak, and at 3500 it doesnt even registering 1 full psi? Just some food for thought, boost doesnt mean power. I also predicted this car would make about 650 rwhp on 7 psi based on the NA numbers it produced before the blower went on. I think it could make 750-800 rwhp at 13 psi, but we all know the bottom end wont hold that for very long, if at all, it would be fun trying, haha.
