ive not got into this whole digital storage craze like some people have, but i have been thinking it would be super cool to have a portable compact storage unit that could output via fm modulation. Ive searched a little here and there, but not too many people make them..i know , i know about the whole its not digital due to the fm is the reason but i primarily want it for work, we have a bunch of el cheapo radios around the plant and in the shop, they are old ass tape deck style radios..i want to get something i could take with me and put in my toolbox, that way when i wanted to listen to it i could just get it out and sit it beside the radio and let it go..any input or exp with these types of devices?

All you gotta do is plug one of those wireless in-car kits into an ipod and tune the radio to the right station.

They are like 20 bucks at wal-mart.

yes, but i dont want to buy a dam ipod..i have no use for it but what i want to do at work and they are too much damn money...plus im sure the wireless kit is 12v not 120 so you would have to find a source, or if it all runs off the ipods battery, plug the dam ipod into the wall or replace the batteries like every 5 minutes..i just need something that is stand alone..i saw one when i searched..it was like 100 bucks, and was a 128mb..i didnt search too intensely though.
