Default to heads and cam or not, that is the question

I bought a 99 frc corvette. Im gettin a twin turbo system that will have twin 44 mm turbos. Will a set "that I already have" of patriot stage 3 2.08 heads and a futral F-4 226-226 / 575-575 on 114+4 make more power relieably on the same 10 pounds of boost than the stock heads and cam. Very simple question, drivablilty is very good with this setup so thats not a problem. What do you guys think ? How much more power if any ? I already know the stock bottom end will be at its max so I will have a very safe tune also.

With the twin turbo kit you certainly would make more power with the heads and cam that you mentioned, but I wouldn't advise it on a stock bottom end.
Check out this Corvette that we added twin turbo's to. http://www.exoticperformanceplus.com...Car.php?car=26 Bob

That is a very good wright up. I have seen this car before and all I can say is Im glad I didnt buy the HP kit.

Compression will be 10.4

I have no power goal what it makes is what it makes. But Im sure it will make 550-600 rwhp.

If it would be safer to run lower boost but have the power of the heads and cam I would probably do it.

Run 8psi and you should be somewhere in your goal range. Good luck

I would say 470-500rwhp without the heads and cam and 550-600rwhp with the heads and cam you have.

I'd sell the aftermarket heads and cam you have now and put the money towards a forged bottom end. You can keep you stock cam and heads and make plenty of power if setup right. A little porting and a cam swap later on will net more power and you'll not have to worry about the bottom end.
