Default Oil,Temp Gauge?

Just wondering if those gauges should be moving up and down when you drive the car??? The temp gauge never goes past half way mark and the oil gauge just goes up the more I give it gas. I know my nissan 300zx did that with its oil gauge just wondering if thats normal for our cars???

No the temp gauge shouldn't go past the halfway mark (210*), if you have a 98 then the temp guage actually works, and will move in response to coolant temp differences, in the 99+ the gauge is a dummy, and, once the engine is warm, indicates 210* unless you overheat
The oil gauge moving up and down with the revs, that's normal
