Default hooray street tires.....

ran my car at NED w/ street tires just to test the pull and get an estimated trap speed.....these are the 2 runs i did...wheel hop is so fun

R/T 1.331 1.345
60' 2.441 2.381
330' 6.399 6.046
1/8 9.286 8.821
MPH 89.03 92.74
1000' 11.663 11.145
1/4 13.604 13.013
MPH 118.42 122.00

my goal was to hit 12s while runnin it easy.....i got close...my DRs are on the way...so hopefully my cage will get here too so i can run 11s....and i still gotta weld in my relocation brackets too, so hopefully it will all be done for may....

DR's alone will let you hit the better of 11.5. easy.

Go on a test and tune day, I hate going on street nights now.

The prep is WAY better.

I liked that hood... it'll look awsome once it's painted, and the car sounds badass!

Don built the motor, afr 205 heads, ls6 block, forged internals CR 9:1, still dont remember cam specs...and the d1 with about 10 #....i did have some belt slippage around 6000+ in 3rd and 4th but i didnt get to see the boost...its a very good motor....i still need to get it tuned....seems like its running very rich at low rpm....i also have 3.75 gears full locker 9"...subframes, tubular k member, LCAs, tremec 6 speed, spec stg 5 clutch, i still have some other things to throw in the car (line lock, fan switch, relocation brackets) then ill put on the new front bumper and get it painted....and of course the rims and DRs

Forget the DR's. Get Et streets. The Dr's will not help that much with traction. I have a pair of Nitto's & they are junk. I cut the same 60' with my street tires.

Hmm, I plan on cutting high 1.60 w/ my Nittos and drive around on them all day.

I cut low 1.7's off idle currently.

Go when they prep the track, heat em' up, and get a good torque arm, SFC's, and LCA's.

It can be done, still though they can't beat the ET's.

The same setup with GSD-3's only got me mid 1.9's, so the Nittos are pretty respectable while still basically being a street tire.

if i could pull a 1.6 60' that would get me low 11s, that would be pretty good...better then what i was expecting to do with my little experience at the track....i have the stock TA and already have SFCs LCAs, just waiting on the roll cage....i still need to get a drive shaft loop that fits and a tranny/clutch shields
