Default gears in my ta

i have a stock m6 ta, i plan on rebuldin it asap and all that good stuff so i can have a fun daily driver. but for now i want to put gears in it im thinkin 4.10's, thats what a few buddies say i should put in. now is that to much for a daily driver is it gonna kill my gas mileage, and can any one tell me where to buy gears at.

I drive an auto with Motive 4.10 gears. My gas mileage isn't great, but I wouldn't have it any other way. Should be fine with m6

I say 4.10s are Ok. You might notice a little drop in gas mileage but not a lot. You can try some of the sponsors sites or just get it all from Summit.... Sometimes where ever you go to get the gears installed than can get you a better price than buying the parts yourself. I paid $450 with a re-build of all bearings and races, and the 4.10's installed...

what year is it? if its a 93 even with the M6 the most i would suggest is 3.73's however if its 94+ then yeah youll love the 4.10's.
