I guess it looks good, but I usually rest my thumbs on those areas and I could see that starting to become annoying or even worse cut you.

nope, does not cut and it does not burn your fingers,I rest my thumbs on it aswell and it is not annoying at all!!!
Many modern cars put alu in this place and it looks cool in my opinion ,of course you have to combine it with more brushed alu in diferent places
I will have my cd player and shifter **** and airlids with real alu done aswell.
After that I will go 2 tone on the seats and panels---> light brown with dark gray on the inside

While you're at it get a billet column dress up kit. I've got one on mine. Replaces the black tilt lever and emergency flasher ***** with polished billet. I also have a polished stainless gauge bezel. I haven't seen any other aluminum interior pieces I like that look right when installed.

I also have a polished stainless gauge bezel
GetGone- I saw these some time back - ordered one and they were on backorder for like 4 months, so I told them to cancel the order. Only thing is now I can't remember where I ordered them from?

Any chance you could PM me the info?

TIA,
-Jay-

I got the Billet column dress up from Billet Specialties and the stainless bezel from ebay. I'll have to get pics of the column dress up and post em.
