Default Quick question for ya guys

This is a picture of a Carfax confirmed 1998 Z28. So it's definitely an LS1. My question though is: Are these LT1 wheels or was this style wheel also available on the LS1s?

Thanks for the help.

AFAIK, salad shooters (wheels pictured) were available from 93-96, so someone put those on that car.....for some reason.

This car is supposed to be all stock and in excellent condition at a local used car lot. Scares me that it has the wrong wheels on it. Who knows what else was changed.

Anywho, it's a 98 hardtop slushbox with 88K miles. I have them down to $6,000. Think I should pull the trigger or keep looking?

As long as it's in good condition I would go for it. With the money your saving you could always get a nice set of rims/tires for around $1,000

Yeah, for $6000 I would do it if you are happy with the paint and you believe it was taken good care of. That is pretty cheap, and like Jersey said, with that saved money you could get some good rims!

yeah you can buy decent rims from tomzwheels for like 400-600 dollars. take a pic of the engine bay and show it to us, just to make sure it's an ls1. but the taillights are the ls1 ones.

Maybe he just it a curb or ran over something hard and bent his rims and just needed a cheap replacement.

I believe they switched to these taillights in '97.
