Default tranny removal problem

hey everybody, just into my clutch install

and i cannot! get that last damned bolt on the Tranny. its the one at the very top, but the passenger side. Here is a hose and a wire loom in the way

any tips on how to get that last one out? I've got a 2ft straight extension, plus the usual 3", 6" (or whatever) and a swivel

I just can't get the damned socket on that thing

tips?

thanks!

the way i did it is get alot of extensions and drop the end of the tranny for it will hang lower towards the ground and you should be able to reach it with no troubles

i got it off, i ended up using the 3" and 2ft extensions, and it ended up right where the shifter comes up, i poped the air rachet on from inside the car and busted it off

my question is, WTF is that stupid bracket doing there, its holding a small plastic hose that just sits ontop of the tranny, its capped...wtf is that for? do i really need it? cuz theres no way i'm putting that stupid little bracket back on lol

Its a breather line for the trans, and yes you need it. I dropped the rear of the trans, and it made it alot easier to reach. Ive had our tranny in and out more than id like (3 times in a week), so i guess i could say im pretty good at it now.

On mine I had to cut the y-pipe where it goes into the mid pipe, and then the rear of the tranny dropped right on down.
