Newb at replacing O2 sensor... ok so i know my passenger rear O2 sensor is out and i went and bought a replacement...now comes the newb part of it...i have never replace a rear one. is it hard? any tools required? better question, wheres it at? help me guys...and sorry this is probably annoying to some...lol thanks!!!

Located on passenger side immediately downstream of cat.
On connector, pull out tab and unplug connector (gently lift lock while pulling plug out of socket with slight side-to-side wiggle motions; don't break lock).
Undo sensor with large open end wrench or slotted socket.
Compare old sensor with new to be sure they're the same.
Lightly spread some anti-seize on the threads only.
Installation is the opposite of removal.

One other tip - either install it first and then plug it into the wiring harness, or plug in the wiring harness and pre-wind the cable enough prior to installing it. Otherwise you'll bind the cable/wiring.

We don't know your "level of difficulty" so I'm going to say this just to be safe:
If you use a jack to lift the car, be sure to use jackstands and that car is stable.
It would be best to use ramps for something like this.
(Rhino ramps are very good and cheap).

a banana will screw into an O2 bung.... but it WILL NOT READ ACCURATE O2 readings...... (there will also be alot of excess shavings when screwing the banana into the O2 bung)sadly .... .02738928727 people die a year from confusing bananas with O2 sensors
just trying to stop the trend Bosch LSU4 and NGK are much better solutions
(plus every possible O2 replacement issue has already been covered
and bananas are funny! )
