Baby got a new pair of shoes!
I really needed some new rear tires for the Z28, so here's what I bought. They're my street tires, but I'll also be using them at the track for a while. I'll be getting some Centerline rears along with the new Goodyear SS drag radials later on this year, but I have some nitrous accessories to buy right now.

Good deal!
I just ordered some new shoes for mine today too. Some M/T 275/40R17s, my goal is to get kicked off the track this yr w/ only N/A.
Let's do some math:
12.19 @ 112 w/ 1.96 60' (and a blown gasket)
New tranny, and diff will put it around:
12.1 @ 114 w/ 1.96 60'
New DR setup
1.96 -> 1.70 (-.26)
.26 x 2 = .52 (max)
.26 x 1.5 = .39 (avg)
.26 x 1 = .26 (min)
12.1 - .52 = 11.58 (max)
12.1 - .39 = 11.71 (avg)
12.1 - .26 = 11.84 (min)
New AFR heads, intake, plugs, wires, tb, inj, tune:
CR - 11.34:1 (from 10.6:1)
DCR - 8.67 (N/A)
Quench - ~.033 (from .052)
Final Time - 11.??
Cory it looks like you'll have a strong set of heads coming your way, as soon as my AFRs get here.
Sorry if I hijacked your thread, got a little excited.
