Default Tell me if these are the right injectors.

Ok. I had a 383 built with the lt4 conversion and a supercharger using 8lbs of boost with a fmu. I put 30 lbs injectors in it thinking this will be good. I call to get a dyno tune setup and we will say "BillyBob" said that my injectors were too small and it will run lean. Ok, so I decide not to go with the lt4 conversion and get some afr lt4 195's with standard port, a thunder racing blower cam, and a lt4 intake ported to fit a monoblade throttlebody and to the heads. Oh, and I put a smaller pulley on to use around 14lbs of boost. I took BillyBobs advice and put 42 lbs ford injectors into my car and took off the fmu. I call BillyBob back to set up another appt. to get a dyno tune. Once again BillyBob said my injectors are too small. That it would run lean. What the hell does a guy gotta do to get a dyno tune around here. I think the 42's are plenty big. What do you guys think?

I think BillyBob is right. 14lbs is too much boost for only a 42lb injector. Go to the fueling and injection section and they have a sticky that will link you to a calculator that can give you the proper injector size you need.

Yes, Billybob is not steering you wrong. The 42's would of worked well for you when you were shooting for 8 psi. I'd go with 60lb injectors now that you have bumped the boost up into the 14 psi range. Bob

Dude, you needed to do this research BEFORE you bought all the wrong parts.

All the wrong parts? And it takes how long to change out injectors? Ok. What other wrong parts are you talking about? Just curious.
