Default Track Results- 98 T/A

'98 T/A, A4, 87,000 miles on it. SLP lid, Magnaflow muffler, 3000 stall converter, tranny cooler, LCA's and relocation brackets, adj. panhard bar, bilstein shocks/eibach springs, TA rear end girdle, 275/40/17 street tires.

Well, I didnt manage to get a set of DR's in time, but I still went and ran 4-5 times on street tires anyways. Babied it off the line, barely leaving off idle and about half throttle and then getting in it about 30-40 ft after starting. First run was 9.05 at 84.18 mph. My slowest run of the night, and it was with a 2.329 60 ft.... horrible I know.. haha. I cut 2.02 60ft when the car was bone stock.

First Run-

2.3292 -60 ft.

6.0530 -330 ft.

8.5131 -594 ft.

9.0540 -1/8 mile ET

84.18 -1/8 mile MPH

Times kept dropping though, and I KINDA figured out how to launch on these tires. Leave off idle, barely give any gas, gradually build up until I know it will hook, and then get on it.

Last run was my best one,

1.9600 -60 ft.

5.5619 -330 ft.

7.9959 -594 ft.

8.5329 -1/8 mile ET

84.80 -1/8 mile MPH

I thought it was pretty good for launchin on street tires with a 3000 stall.... Should see alot better times with a good set of DR's when I can launch normally and not have to leave off idle...

pretty good man. nice ride, i have a 97 ss and my first time to the track my best time was 8.4 at 85 mph and with nitrous i went 7.8 at 89.63 mph. i did not think that was to bad with stock motor and no stall.

8.4 with a stock LT1? Either you have a freak or you werent stock, haha. That's near a 13.00 1/4 mile time, I didnt know any stock LT1 was that fast.

Thanks though.
