lets forget i ever asked about the availability of "red lenses" to replace the oem side marker on a 4th gen T/a... Now im going to try this one, i have the lenses from the rear of my old 95 t/a which are red, and im going to cut the front bumper of my 99 ta around the existing lamps, allowing the hole to accept the larger rear lenses... i layed them over the bumper, its not too much bigger than the hole allows..so i dont think for one bit it will look dumb, and since im moddin the font bumper anyway for the intercooler I figured this was a project... chime in, if u want... will keep you updated..

The red lenses from the rear of a Camaro are a direct swap. I swapped the red for amber from a T/A on my car:

I did the opposite of blaSSt, I swapped the rear red camaro lenses into my fronts and replaced the amber. I'm not sure what to think of it yet, and know its not a popular idea, but I just dont like the amber, and heard too many problems with clear lenses.

Never had any problems with my clears from Afterthoughts Auto - they're fine as long as you spend the $$ to get quality parts. The verions on eBay and versions where people are making them from fluorescent light diffuser material glued to stock housings are junk CHEAP=JUNK

Just out of curiosity, is it legal to change the colors of the side marker lights? Every car is made with red at rear and amber in front for a reason. Even with the clears the bulbs are still the orignal colors...
