Just wanted to post my numbers....
First, my goal was not/is not to build an all out race car.
Next, the numbers -- 428 rwhp uncorrected -- 412 SAE. Hit my goals -- just where I wanted to be. Before the work was done, I sat down with a calculator and came up with 415 rwhp -- came out fairly close.
Work done -- AFR 205 heads unmilled.
Mamo cam -- 224/228/114/581/588
LS6 intake
Kooks 1 3/4" long tubes with hi flow cats.
Electric cutout and a REAL muffler. Used to have the LoudMouth cat back.
!EGR
!AIR
Already had -- lid stuff, free ram air, ported TB, underdrive pulley, ported MAF.
Want to thank -- Tony Mamo for bringing us "out of the box bolt-on power".
Also want to thank -- LT1DAVE. Dave did all of the work and did everything just the way I wanted it. He understood that I wanted to build something that is fun to drive -- not a race car. He did the tuning as well.
Next step - drive line
Moser 9" rear with 4.11 gears.
BMR Trac Pak Torque Arm
LS2 flywheel
LS7 clutch
new drive shaft
adjustable BMR panhard bar
After that -- beg the wife for more money. (anyone else have this issue?)
After that -- Bogart wheels, M/T ET Drags and skinnies, line lock up front, and a custom LT1DAVE roll cage.
Ultimate goal -- have something that is fun to drive on the street that is truly streetable and something that will hit the 11's on the track. I won't have the fastest LS1 around -- not even the fastest in Cincinnati. I will have a ride that meets all of my goals and is FUN to drive -- and quiet enough such that my wife won't get mad at the car anymore.

Congrats man! Should be a nice combo that drives like stock. It goes to show you how strong the AFR 205's are as you are making almost the same power as me at the stock compression ratio with a smaller intake runner! Why no mill for more compression? With the right mill, gasket and quench there's easy power to be had.

The reason for no milling is that I wanted something that is very docile and I had never done a heads/cam car before. I was worried that milling to a higher compresson would compromise the drivability of the combo. I do realize that my assumption there might have been wrong.
The AFR Mamo combo (205's with 224/228 cam) is docile but still provides good power. Currently -- the key word -- I am happy with what I have.
