M6 car with exhaust, lid, and self ported TB goes 12.5s! So a few weeks ago I went to the track and got a new best since I put the TEXtraila in. It was 12.64@112 with a 2.071 60ft. I was learning the car all over and the track was a bit on the cold side.
Fast forward to last nite......I beat my old best with a 12.60 pass, then backed that up on the next and final pass of the nite with my current best time!

This was acheived with a dirty Holley filter, about 8k on a set of TR6 plugs, swaybar on, 20+ deg hotter weather than the last trip, headwind, and basically full weight car. Car is weighing right around 3400 without me.

Sweet! I had the same mods and ran 12.7@111.5 w/2.0 60'. I was 150lbs lighter than you... I thought my car was strong stock! Imagine if you got your 60' down even a couple of 10th's!

Yeah I really wish I could get her down in the 1.8s, but I don't want to blow the 10 bolt, and I really don't think the tires would hold a high rpm dump anyway. So for now the 1.9s will have to suffice.....maybe I'll get lucky one pass and get a 1.8x.
Hopefully the next time I go there won't be a headwind and I can get my 112 traps back that I was getting the last trip. Plus I am gonna do a few little things as well. Time will tell......
