Default Need Help, Slave fittings not the same.

Well I have the tranny/rearend/torque tube setup out of my 03 Z06 for a clutch install. I got a new slave from the vender I bought the clutch from. Well the new slave's fitting is a 5/8's like it is supposed to be but my stocker is really small. Am I missing something or is a Z06 suposed to have a Z06 slave? Any help or anvise on how to make the 5/8 connection work with my current -4 line and small fitting?

TIA, Kraig

Doe's the 5/8 fitting come straight out, no stainless cable extension/bends? I just finished up a LS7 clutch install in my camaro and the vendor sent me a slave for a vette. At first I thought it was a new design but when I lined things up it didn't fit right. I went to the dealer to get the right part, so if you need a new slave for your vette let me know

Yeah, the new one is just a straight 5/8 brass fitting. My old one is much much smaller. Unless I am missing something there is no way it is going to work. Does anyone know if I can swap over a smaller fitting? I swear something isn't right because I have a new Z06 Slave and my car is a Z06 should be no problems. The fittings are drastically different though.

You can just swap the fitting I believe. I didn't want to bother with that, so I just bought a new one. Take a look at the pic, the one on the right is for my Camaro. The left is probably what you need.
