Default Tuning issue? Help please.

Today at Cedar falls my car was acting up. The car hooks very nicely and is making good power, but after every single launch it would bog terribly. A friend of mine's setup is the same as mine except he has an LS6 intake and a tune, he ran a 12.5XX@113.8 compared to my 12.93@109.5, I compared the slips and both 60's were very close (mine 1.99, his 2.0X) but his 1/8th MPH was 3.5 MPH higher and his 1/8 ET were .35 better than mine, if you do the math hes pulling about 4 MPH and .4 total, but .35 and 3.5 MPH are before the 1/8th mile? Is this a tuning issue with my car? I cant figure it out. Both cars are M6's, with stock gears and running on 245/50/16 nittos.

also consider ls6 intake usually will get 15-20hp over the ls1 that you have on your car...that equates to around 2-3 mph in the 1/4...also it depends how you launch...maybe hes slipping the clutch out which is allowing him semi ok 60's but to not bog whereas maybe your launching at 4k which will allow you to come out hard but then bogging because your not quite launching high enough...just a thought but obviously something is going on between the 60 & 330 which I would tend to think its more driver error then anything.

I was slipping the clutch quickly from anywhere between 3K and 4500, when I would go WOT, the car would bog (or not respond) for a second and then pick up. I never had this problem last year with basically the same setup, changes this year were a home ported TB, march UD pulley, and the car is about 50 lbs lighter. Last year I ran 12.900@108 or 108.5 with 1.9 60's.
