Default Seat Belt

Anybody ever break that little black plastic cover that goes around the male part of the seat belt that latches?
I think it is there to keep the belt straight.
Mine broke can it be repalced an how?

mines broke on the pass. side. There was a post a while back about this and they had a part num from gm. Like 10 bucks, most people were saying instead of unbolting the whole seatbelt strap to just make a slice in the replacement part then slide the belt through and screw it back down. I just haven't done mine...well because....i'm never in the pass side ;>

You could always use the one the verts use. They have a slit in them

You're talking about the plastic peice that is on the actual male seat belt connector right? It sounds like 98 camaro is talking about the plastic loop that screws on the side of the seat so you don't have to reach back too far to get the belt.

As far as the male connector goes...I was told by the parts dude at the dealer that you have to order the whole seatbelt in order to replace the plastic on the male connector...which was like $200+ I'm still looking into other options because those part guys usually have no clue what they're talking about.

That is exactly what i'am talking about.
I was hoping i would not have to do the whole seat belt thing
But without that little plastic piece the belt want stay straight.
Thanks let me know if you come up with anything.

I don't see the part in that list...I see the seatbelt guide but isn't that the loop that screws into the seat?

Not only that but the connector on mine always slides over that little plastic nub on the belt ...which is supposed to be there to stop the connector from sliding down. Not a big deal really...just a pain in the ***.
