Default Anyone here of Ferrera Valves and Springs?? I need some help

A local head porter from the School of Automotive Machinests(SAM) is porting a set of heads for me, and wants to use Ferrara valve, springs...etc. Are they any good??? thanks guys, victor

i'm using ferra valves, they work great!
i don't know about the springs...

I am not sure about the springs.Is he gonna give you a warranty on the parts?If so then try em out.I doubt they would steer you wrong though.

I've heard the Ferrea valves are heavier than others, meaning you will need stronger valvesprings. That might not be a problem if you are running solid lifters, but for hydraulic lifters it could be, depending on how high you want to rev.

A lightweight valvetrain is just as important as a lightweight rotating assembly for making power.

I opted for Manley valves in my application because I was informed they were a little lighter than the equivalent Ferrea valves. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I'm running ferrea in my LT1 stroker - that's what GTP uses in their heads. Damned good valves, couldn't tell you about the springs.

I'm not sure about the springs, but I have those valves in my TEA S2 heads

GTP has sent some recent heads out with Ferrea valvesprings. They dont use the same retainer as the stock/918 do.

We put their Stg II heads, 227/224 cam, Jethots, lid and ASP pulley on what was a factory stock car it made 410 hp with no tuning.
