Corvette Performance - gear ratio questions

I know the Z06 has different 1,2,and 3 gear ratios. I was thinking about changing the trans in my FRC to a Z06 spec unit for a little help down low, but was curious what youguys thought would you just change the diff. ratio or put in a built trans for similar money?

I'd just change the rear end ratio. A 3.73 in your car would be similar to the stock MN12 in the Z06. A 4.10 in your car is similar to 3.90s in a Z06.

I believe a 3.90 rear axle matches the Z06 MN12 gearing, but only for the first 3 gears. 4th, 5th and 6th you get different gearing.
