What stall for street/strip procharged 347?
Motor has a built bottom end with 10.1:1 compression. I will be adding truck heads and possibly thicker head gaskets to lower the compression. I am in the process of buying the Procharger setup that Moparnos had on this car. I believe it comes with a 11-13psi pulley.
I want some recommendations on stall size. I currently have a 4400 stall on it that I was using for the all motor setup, so I am thinking I need to go lower, possibly 3000-3500, correct?
I am having Ed Curtis design me a cam. I orginally was having him design a max effort all motor cam, but my setup has changed. I want to first get an idea of what type of stall I will need, and then have him design the cam based on the stall. Or should I be doing it the other way around? Mods are below.
thanks

I can, but I think I may be dissapointed.
I was at Markos shop three weeks ago getting it tuned for H/C, and in third gear the rpm's couldn't get over 6,100 rpms. Bill told me it was the converter for sure. I was getting major valve float as welll, so maybe that was contributing as well. But if the converter was being overpowered with the N/A setup, I hate to see what it do with a procharger.

It will be pretty loose probably, I would just try to see where you are at first so you have a point of reference. Most likely it will have to be tightened up a couple hundred rpm..
edit: If its that loose N/A you will be very disappointed when you put the blower on it. May as well get it changed now..

The nice thing about Yank is that they used to restall converters for like $200-250.
My current TCT is stalling like 4500 with 18-21 psi. I might sell it. I was seeing 162mph on the dyno with it.
