Default Clutch engages different after making 1/4 pass?

I noticed last week at the track, that after I make a run at the track, the clutch seems to engage sooner (pedal is barely off the floor)

Then when Im driving home it normal. It engages about halfway off the floor....

Is this something I should worry about?

Might want to flush the clutch master's fluid to start with. Ever replaced any of the hydraulic's?

umm i know whats wrong
the clutch lines run right next to the exhaust.. when the exhaust gets hot, sometimes the fluid inside the clutch lines will boil causing the clutch pedal feel to become very soft.. i had mine checked out also, they just moved the wires around.. i would also recommend changing ur clutch fluid.

This may sound stupid, but how do you change the clutch fluid.

pop the cap off your resevoir, remove the little black rubber thing, have a friend sit in the drivers seat, go under the car to the transmission, above where the steel braided line from the clutch master goes, there's a bleeder screw. Use a 7/16 socket to crack it. Have your friend apply slight pressure to the pedal, crack the bleeder, have him press the pedal to the floor and leave it there black fluid will spurt out. when it stops, close the bleeder, top off the resevoir as needed with new fluid. Keep doing it till the fluid isnt black anymore.

yeah it definitely takes along *** time

you can also just buy like a vacuum suction thing from autozone.. just stick it in the master cylinder (the reservoir by the engine) and pump it while a friend is holding the clutch in
