Default crank sensor

so when i pulled my motor out i ripped the connection for the crank sensor....in other words..the conneceter is still in the block and the wires got ripped out of the harness...can i just spilce these wires where they came out of and be on my way ? or do i need to buy a new sernsor ?

It would depend on how badly damaged the wires are. If you can soldier them back and heat-shrink them for protection and then add a sleeve to protect them from vibration and such, you might be able to get away with the repair. . .
