Default 4L80E Trans and MS3 cam

I am hoping that this turns out ok, for right now ill be running just a HD 4X4 4L80E trans (transfer case was taken off, only has 5 miles on it) with my MS3 cam, which means, I have to most likely take it around 6800, I was wondering if anyone has tried taking this trans and cam combo to around there without having to do work on the trans and completally rebuilding it?

My freind has a 2500hd truck, 4wd ext cab. It has just a shift kit in the 80e. It has a TSp 233/239 595/603 on a 113LSA. It shift out of 1st at 6900, out of 2nd at 6700. It is working really well, this truck is his daily driver. It weighs 6000lbs and runs 96.5mph in the quarter with the stock intake, TB, and exhaust manifolds yet. It also has MTI stage 2e heads.
