99 T/A with 38,500mi - is $15k too high?
I emailed a guy who had posted his 1999 T/A with 38,500 miles for $17,500 and told him I had several similar cars with the same miles going closer to 12-13k, but none of them had manuals and to email me back if he was interested in working something out with me.
He gave me an email saying he would do more research, and then he emailed me back saying he would let it go for $15,000, which I think is still too high.
KBB/Edmunds says around 11k, I think the most I would go would be in around $12,000....$13,000 max if it was in excellent condition, but still think it is pretty high.
Who is more realistic on price?

I saw an 02 WS6 for $19,xxx with 42K miles on it here in Shreveport,LA (we have decent F-body pricing, down south they are CHEAP! McAllen, etc.). But the car you are looking at sounds VERY steep to me.

you live in the midwest, and f-bodies always sell for much more than they do down south, believe me I know, being I have bought 2 now in which I had to spend months looking for and still ended up driving over 400 miles one way to get them.
I bought my 99 T/A with 25k miles for 13.7k, he was asking 14.5k for it so the price he is asking for the one you are lookin at is somewhat fair for this area...guy I know just sold a 94 Z28 with 75k miles on it for $9k so that just tells you how much more cars go for in the midwest, but if you keep looking you will find one for a better deal, as did I.

I live in chicago, i drovo to ohio to get my LT1 and i drove to colorado for my LS1. I saved thousand by taking these trips to get the cars. Something you should consider. These cars are extremely overpriced aorund the midwest especially chicgao. Hell my buddy was lloking at a black over black WS6 6-Speed with 60K+ on the clock and the fist # the dealer through at us was 26,000 were like wwwhhhhaaaattttttt?? Told em we were serious buyers and had cash on hand ready to buy and to get us a real number. they came back at just under 23. We walked way laughing and came back later that day with a blue WS6 with 55K miles or so that we got for under 16 from a private party.

i think its justified. the lack of M6 in the area, and if he knows it, he could charge more than another car everything being equal except its an auto. and what color is the car?? im my opinion, better looking colors fetch more than others. no offense to anyone, but i don't think teal looks good on fbodies, or any car for that matter. and its usually the teal auto that are the cheapest of the bunch
